🤖 Hackathon FAQs

General Questions

1. How do I sign up? Just fill out this Google Form.
2. Who can join the hackathon? – Anyone can join the hackathon, whether you’re a student, professional, or from any background.
3. Is there a registration fee? – None. Participation is completely FREE.
4. Do I need to form a team before the event? – Individual registration is welcome. We’ll help match you with a team at the beginning of the event. If you already have a team, it should be composed of 2–4 members.
5. How long will the hackathon run? – The event will run from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
6. Are there prizes for winners? – Yes! The winning team will receive ₱20,000 in cash plus other exciting opportunities.
7. Will food, internet, and workspaces be provided? – Yes. Food, internet, and workspace will all be provided.
8. What should I bring? – Bring your laptop, chargers, valid ID, and an extension cord (if needed). And of course—bring your energy and creativity!

Technical / AI-Specific Questions

1. Is AI allowed? Yes! We encourage the use of AI to build a better solution faster.
2. Are there specific programming languages participants need to use? – No specific languages are required. Most projects will involve using LLM APIs like OpenAI, focusing more on the application layer rather than machine learning data science.
3. Are there restrictions on using pre-trained AI models? – Ask Steve

1. What are the judging criteria? –

Peer voting. Each person can pick their top 3 projects in some sort of ranked voting system. You can’t vote for your own team.
